Diana Williams, 85, who owned Diane's Coffee Shop, in Bulan, KY., died on June 30th.
Born in Foggia,
Italy, the daughter of Raffaeli and Mickelina Giammitta, she was a life-long resident of
Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Williams;
two sons: Frankie Joe Williams and Claude "Esaw" Williams.
Survivors include one son: Tony Williams & Carol of Louisville, KY;
three grandchildren: Charles Buddy Williams & Debra, Steven
Williams, and Manessa Harvey & Wayne; five great-grandchildren:
Alexis, Macy, Chase, Savanna, & Kaelyn. |

Justine Combs, 81, former manager of Martin's
Department Store in Vicco, died on July 5th. She was
born at Kodak, KY., the daughter of William and Elizabeth Madden
Eversole. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl
Combs, one daughter - Elizabeth "Betty" Combs, and one
half-sister - Gladys Thornsberry. Survivors include
step-mother - Mary Eversole of Vicco, three sons - Glen Combs of
Lexington, Curtis Combs of Paris, and William Combs of Vicco,
one sister - Christine Daniels of Nancy, one half-brother - Lynn
Eversole of Viper, two grandchildren - Kelly Combs and Holly

Harry Ford Bowling, 78, former Leslie
County Sheriff from 1986 until 1998, died on June 25th. He
was the son of Reynolds Bowling and Nora Napier Bowling.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years: Faye Hacker Bowling of
Stinnett, KY; two sons: Paul Bowling of Stinnett, KY and Bill
Bowling of Hyden, KY; six daughters: Wanda Powers f Blaine, KY,
Linda Bowling of Stinnett, KY, Joann Herring of Stinnett, KY,
Kathy Napier of Burnside, KY, Debbie Turner of Hyden, KY, and
Dianna Mosley of Hyden, KY; two brothers: three sisters.. |

Mary Noble Stidham, 81, a retired
beautician who owned Mary's Styling Salon at Wooton, KY., died
on June 18th. Mary was born at Jackson, Ky., the daughter
of Samuel Noble & Rachel Creech Noble. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Bruner, four brothers, and two
sisters. Survivors include two sons: Victor Stidham of
Wooton, Ky., Scott Stidham of Wooton, Ky., two daughters:
Melissa Ann Stidham of Wooton, Ky., Sandra Wells of Wooton, Ky.,
one brother, Oscar Noble of Ohio, one sister, Dicie Mae Jones of
